Drugs haul seized in Cairo

CAIRO-Cairo police seized more than 80 kg of drugs during a crackdown on suspected drugs traffickers, police sources said on Sunday.
During the day-long swoop, police seized 85 kg of bhang (an illicit intoxicating substance), eight kg of hashish and 300 grams of heroin, the sources added. The offenders are being questioned before standing trial.
Egypt has recently stepped up its efforts against drugs traffickers.
