CAIRO, July 10, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt's Cabinet Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) on Tuesday denied reports that were published by some social media websites on seizing 45,000 tonnes of Russian wheat that is not fit for human consumption which was going to the Ministry of Supply and Home Trade. In a report, the IDSC confirmed that these reports are groundless. The centre explained that it contacted the Ministry of Supply and Home Trade which clarified that bad wheat was actually seized but the consignment in question was meant to be delivered to a private company. All imported foodstuffs undergo examination in accordance with the Egyptian standards, added the report.
