CAIRO, July 8, 2018 (MENA) - Egypt's Ambassador to Ireland Soha Gendy said Sunday that Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Mona Mehrez paid a visit to Ireland during July 2-5 upon an invitation from the Irish side. The visit aims at probing aspects of joint cooperation in the field of livestock and enhancing bilateral economic and commercial ties, Gendy noted. The diplomat underlined that the visit included holding an expanded meeting with Irish minister of state at the department of agriculture and food besides senior officials of the livestock and international trade sectors. During the get-together, the officials of both countries agreed to prepare a cooperation protocol to exchange expertise and transfer the developed Irish technologies used in improving strains of the livestock to Egypt besides increasing its productivity especially in the medium and micro farms.
