CAIRO, July 7, 2018 (MENA) – Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar said Saturday that developing the leather products and increasing its exports are considered a top priority for the government in the coming period. The leather industry development plan is on the table for the ministry, and has an unprecedented support from the political administration, Nassar said during an expanded meeting with the members of the Leather Export Council of Egypt and tanning chamber. The Trade and Industry Ministry spares no effort to tackle the challenges impeding the leather and tanning industries in Egypt, Nassar said, adding the competitive advantages should have a great focus to reach maximum utilization.
