CAIRO, June 17, 2018 (MENA) – Egypt's Prime Minister and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouli asserted late Saturday that the price of bread will not be raised as the Supply Ministry will bear the bid–offer of diesel fuel instead of the bakeries, Cabinet Spokesman Ashraf Sultan said. In phone calls with the governors and officials, the premier underlined the importance of announcing the new ride fares in every governorate via the media outlets. He also called for setting hotlines in which citizens can complain from any violations committed by the drivers. Madbouli also urged the governors to agree on certain ride fares for means of transportation between the governorates as well as setting an emergency plan to face any expected problems. The premier also contacted Supply Minister Ali Moselhy over the price of bread. Earlier, the Ministry of Petroleum announced a rise in fuel prices.
