CAIRO, June 9, 2018 (MENA) - A press conference will be held Sunday to announce the start of pre-qualification for the management and operation of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) services. The conference will be held at the museum's headquarters at El Remaya Square in Giza in the presence of Ministers Rania el Mashat of Tourism, Khaled el Annai of Antiquities and Sahar Nasr of Investment and International Cooperation. The museum's logo that will be used in the promotional campaign will be unveiled during the conference. The museum, a home to nearly 100,000 artifacts, is established on an area of 500,000 square meters. Also, 5,000 archaeological pieces of King Tutankhamun will be put on display at the museum for the first time.
