CAIRO, June 3, 2018 (MENA) - The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained about 9 billion pounds at the end of trading Sunday backed by purchase operations by Egyptian and Arab investors. The EGX 30 benchmark index upped by 1.60 percent, hitting a record high of 16,675.31 points. The EGX 70 index of leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SMEs) increased by 0.25 percent to reach 844.76 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 0.77 percent to record 2,154.78 points.
