MANCHESTER, May 17, 2018 (News Wires) - Manchester City have confirmed that manager Pep Guardiola has signed a two-year extension with the club that will keep him at the Etihad until 2021. Guardiola, 47, arrived in England last season and led City to third, 15 points off champions Chelsea. However his City team bulldozed their way to the title this season, becoming the first team to reach 100 points in the Premier League, scoring 106 goals in the process. Guardiola's initial contract was only for three years but he has hinted in the past that he would want to stay at City for longer. And he has now put pen to paper on a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2021.
