CAIRO, May 6, 2018 (MENA) - The Russian-Egyptian Business Council will participate in a round table on Thursday under the theme of Egyptian-Russian cooperation opportunities. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Egyptian Ambassador in Moscow Ihab Nasr and Chairman of the Russian-Egyptian Business Council Mikhail Shamil Orlov will attend the round table. The meeting will be held within the framework of the "Russia-Islamic world: Kazan Summit 2018. Kazan Summit is one of the leading international economic events of the Russian Federation and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Since 2009, Kazan Summit is held annually and strongly supported by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA). The aim of the Kazan Summit is to strengthen trade and economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member countries, and to promote the Islamic financial institutions development in Russia. The summit provides a chance to engage in an open dialogue on business, investment prospects and commercial trends in Russia and the Islamic World.
