CAIRO, April 30, 2018- President Abdel Fattah stressed that Egypt supports all sincere efforts aiming to achieve calm in South Sudan with the aim of establishing security and stability in the country. President Sisi's statements came during a telephone call with South Sudan President Salva Kiir on Monday. President Sisi, meanwhile, stressed that Egypt will continue supporting the development efforts in South Sudan, referring to the close ties between the two countries, Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Radi said in a statement. President Sisi, Ambassador Radi continued, emphasised Egypt's keenness on further boosting joint co-operation and offering technical support to South Sudan, a matter that would help meet people's aspirations for better future. Kiir, for his part, expressed his country's keenness on enhancing co-operation with Egypt in diverse domains. He also highlighted the latest political and security developments in South Sudan, hailing Egypt's key role in cementing stability in South Sudan.
