CAIRO, April 26, 2018 - Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs Nabila Makram asserted that Egypt cares a lot about protecting the rights of Egyptians abroad. The ministry is keen on following up the conditions of the Egyptian expats and solve any problems that they might face in any part of the world, Makram said. In another development, Minister Makram pinpointed the key role of soft powers in supporting the national economy and reviving the tourism industry. In a press statement on Thursday, the minister said that she is following up ongoing preparations for the activities of "Roots Revival Week" that will start on April 30 till May 6", under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades. Also, she thanked the cast of "Roots Revival" film for their efforts during the past period. The film, produced by Tawasul Falcon for Public Relations, screens the depth of historic relations binding together the peoples of Egypt, Greece and Cyprus. About 120 Greeks will visit Egypt at the end of April to participate in the event, the minister revealed.
