MADRID, March 28, 2018 - Isco took a swipe at Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane after his hat-trick for Spain against Argentina. The Real Madrid midfielder was the star of the show as Spain thrashed Argentina 6-1 in Madrid, grabbing his first senior hat-trick. Isco, who has failed to nail down a regular starting spot at the Santiago Bernabeu, was full of praise for Spain coach Julen Lopetegui and also took a thinly-veiled dig at club manager Zinedine Zidane. "I have the confidence of the coach and maybe in Madrid, I have not won that yet," he told reporters after the match. "That's why the national is so important for me as it gives me life, if I am not starting and don't have continuity for the club then I must seize all my chances. Isco has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent seasons and they could all be on red alert once again as the Spaniard says he may be the issue. "There are many great players at Real Madrid, maybe I am the problem."
