CAIRO, March 1, 2018 - Renowned Romanian pan-flute musician Gheorghe Zamfir said that he loves Egypt very much because it is the land of Love,Faith and Heritage. Zamfir was speaking on Wednesday, during an interview with Egyptian host Amr Adeeb during his talk show "Kol Youm" (Every Day) which is aired on the ON E satellite channel. The 76-year-old musician said that Egypt had presented human and spiritual values to the world thousands of years ago. He also said he loved Cairo, Alexandria and Hurghada. Zamfir, who will give a concert at the Cairo Opera House tonight, launched his own band in 1969, releasing several original compositions, including Messe pour la Paix, which brought him international acclaim. It's the fourth time for Zamfir to visit Egypt. In 2009, he gave a concert at the Cairo and Alexandria opera houses. In 2016, he was featured as a guest of honour during Richard Clayderman's concert in Cairo.
