Hurghada, Sharm El-Sheikh among top 25 tourist destinations in the world for sun lovers: Tripadvisor
Published in Daily News Egypt on 31 - 08 - 2022

Tripadvisor listed Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh among the best tourist destinations in the world in 2022 for tourists who love sunny and warm weather.
The two cities landed a spot on the list of top 25 tourist destinations in terms of sunny weather based on the opinions of tourists and their experiences in various destinations.
The site pointed out that the city of Hurghada — which is located on the Red Sea — boasts picturesque vistas and tourist components, including the wonderful coral reefs and the charming turquoise waters for surfing, in addition to the great development that the city has witnessed in the past decade, which makes it witness a great turnout of visitors.
It also pointed out that Hurgahda is considered one of the best beaches for European tourists, where they can enjoy diving, snorkelling, dolphin-watching, and other marine activities.
As for the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, the site indicated that it is characterized by a diverse marine life and hundreds of coral reefs in the Red Sea, making it an attractive area for divers and eco-tourists. Tripadvisor also explained that the economic development and growth that Sharm El-Sheikh witnessed made it one of the best luxury resort cities, in addition to the Ras Mohamed Reserve, which is one of the most important water nature reserves in Egypt and the world.
It is worth noting that Tripadvisor is one of the most famous tourist sites specialised in rating tourist destinations according to the experiences of visitors.
This year, it chose Hurghada among the top 10 tourist destinations to visit, and Cairo among the top 10 destinations that managed to achieve the largest annual increase.
It also said that Cairo and Luxor are among the best and most popular 22 tourist destinations to visit in the world this year.
These choices are based on the reviews and ratings that travellers write of places to visit and things to do, as well as accommodations and restaurants in destinations around the world on the Tripadvisor social networking site.
