Saudi Arabia records 4,033 COVID-19 cases, highest in Gulf
Number of UAE recoveries rose to 588 after 170 new recoveries were announced on Saturday

Saudi Arabia has reported a total of 4,033 cases of the coronavirus after 382 new cases were reported on Saturday. A total of 52 people have died in the Kingdom, including five on Saturday.
Dammam's King Fahd International Airport received its first evacuation flight, transporting Saudi citizens back to the country from Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
The UAE reported 376 new cases, raising its total number of infections to 3,736, the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday. It reported four deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 20.
The new cases were discovered after 20,000 tests were conducted on both citizens and residents across the country, with all reported to be in stable condition, according to the ministry.
The number of recoveries in the UAE rose to 588, after 170 new recoveries were announced on Saturday.
Qatar's Ministry of Health reported 216 new cases, with 20 new recoveries. The total of infections in the country reached 2,728, and a total of 247 recoveries.
Kuwait reported 161 new coronavirus infections on Saturday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,154, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Bahrain's Ministry of Health said that 18 new cases have been diagnosed, bringing the total number of cases to 459 cases. The ministry also said that the number of cases who have recovered from the virus reached 551 cases.
