Narrative Disruptors 2019 to kick off mid-April under auspices of MCIT

Narrative Disruptors, Egypt's first international tech innovation forum, will take place in Cairo in the middle of April under the auspices of Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat.
The summit is organised by Egyptian CC Plus firm in cooperation with leading digital solutions provider VictoryLink. It is a side-forum of international public relations gathering Narrative PR Summit— also created by CC Plus— and is the first implementation of the summit's 2018 key recommendations.
Narrative Disruptors will bring a stellar line-up of local and international speakers from all levels of practice with the aim of boosting performance across different government sectors. These include Elizabeth Linder, former International Communications Associate Manager at Facebook and founder and executive director of Beautiful Destinations, the largest travel community on social media with over 20 million followers in 180 countries.
The full line-up of speakers will be announced at a press conference in Cairo on 10 March.
"Among key recommendations of Narrative PR Summit 2018, which we proudly held last October under the auspices of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, was organising a series of forums focused on major industries that can help build a strong nation brand and best compose the image the country presents to the world including: technology, energy, and financial inclusion," said CEO and Chairperson of CC Plus, Lamia Kamel.
VictoryLink's partnership with CC Plus to co-organise Narrative Disruptors was prompted by the continuous success Narrative PR Summit has made over the past three years.
"We wanted to organise a communications-focused forum that would offer valuable insights, strategies, case studies, and in-depth debate on how to empower the communications sector to enhance Egypt's national brand and improve the country's international standing," said Engy El Sabban, CEO of Victorylink.
"The technology sector has been a game changer across all industries amid the Egyptian government's current national development drive through boosting the role of digital economy and developing safe technology infrastructure that enables rolling out access by various social groups to all financial services through the e-payment system," she added.
