Saudi Arabia reshuffles cabinet, government entities
Royal decree issued on Thursday to restructure government headed by King Salman

A royal decree was issued in Saudi Arabia on Thursday to reshuffle the cabinet headed by King Salman, and restructure the Political and Security Affairs Council, headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According the decree, Ibrahim al-Assaf was appointed as foreign minister and Adel Al-Jubeir as minister of state for foreign affairs.
Furthermore, Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz was appointed as minister of National Guard, Turki Shabbaneh as minister of media, and Hamad Al-Sheikh as minister of education.
On the other hand, Sultan Bin Salman was also relieved of the presidency of the Tourism Authority and appointed as chairperson of the Space Authority, while Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal replaced Turki Al-Sheikh as president of the Sports Authority, who has been appointed as chairperson of the Entertainment Authority.
Additionally, Faisal bin Khalid was replaced by Turki bin Talal as governor of the Asir region, and Badr bin Sultan has been replaced by Faisal bin Nawaf as governor of the Jouf region.
Moreover, Musa'ad Al-Aiban was appointed as national security adviser, while Khalid bin Qarar al-Harbi has been appointed director of public security.
