Egypt gathers largest share of 2018's Indonesian Primaduta awards
Honour given to outstanding trade partners, says trade minister

Banten- Indonesia's Trade Minister, Enggartiasto Lukita, said that his country delivered its 2018 Primaduta Award to six Egyptian businesspersons during of Indonesia's ‘33rd Trade Expo Indonesia 2018' which was launched on Wednesday and will last for five days.
The Primaduta Award is given to Indonesia's outstanding trade partners, added the minister, noting that Egypt received the largest share 2018's Primaduta Awards with six awards while Netherlands received four Awards, with three awards going to Saudi Arabia, and three awards for China.
The minister thanked Indonesia's ambassador to Cairo, Helmy Fauzi, for his extensive efforts to boost trade relations with Egypt, which were obvious through the six awards that Egyptian importers received.
2018's Primaduta Awards for Egypt included Mohammad Baraka, CEO of Barak Contracting and Trading for Cooperating Indonesian Tires. The second company was Al Malek Faisal Co. for Trading Tires and Batteries honouring the General Manager (GM) Ahmed al-Ghatati.
The third company was Afia international company for importing palm oil products and the award was delivered to the company's GM, Ahmed Gobran.
The fourth person who received an award was Ibrahim M. Mostafa and Partners (AlRehab) for importing Robusta and Arabica Coffee beans from Indonesia.
The fifth company is AlGaras for Spices and Herbs Industry in Alexandria for importing Robusta and Arabica coffee beans from Indonesia and the honoured person is the company's CEO, Nochi Garas.
The sixth company is Al Nada Co. in Alexandria for importing Robusta and Arabic coffee beans from Indonesia and the honoured person is the company's GM, Khaled Fawzy.
The minister said that exhibitors from 125 countries are participating in Indonesia's ‘33rd Trade Expo Indonesia 2018' while 8,313 buyers are attending the event, noting that 65 contracts worth $500m were already signed with companies from 25 countries.
"We pay special focus on some products to encourage buyers to purchase them. We also focus on textile, furniture and other products, according to instructions from Indonesia's president," said the minister.
"Indonesia's government works to boost its trade, investments, and tourism. We implement the president's instructions to support cooperation with Palestine in providing its traders with the needed incentives, and simplifying procedures so as to facilitate mutual trade relations," remarked the minister.
"We are conducting this exhibition without receiving funds from the state's budget thanks to our sponsors," concluded the minister.
