Al-Mansour launches two new Opel models

Al-Mansour Automotive, Opel's agent in Egypt, unveiled two new cars for 2018, the Crossland X and the Grandland X.
Al-Mansour and Opel leaders held a press conference at Palm Hills to reveal the multi-use SUV models, as well as the former's expansion plans in Egypt for 2018.
Ankush Arora, CEO of Al-Mansour, said that his company is well aware of the needs and nature of the Egyptian market in which it has been operating for more than 40 years. He added that Al-Mansour Automotive presented a huge range of car models to suit all tastes and categories.
Arora added that the new models will impress the company's customers with their advantages using modern German technology.
“Opel has always gained the confidence of Egyptian customers, and is the first choice for those looking for a car with sophisticateis a difficult equation,” said Lotfy Mansour, vice president of Al-Mansour for sales, services, and marketing.
Mansour said that his company aims to maintain its distinguished position in the market through offering the best integrated customer service system and training the company's staff.
Bill Mott, Opel's director of international sales operations, said that the company seeks to seize the largest share of the Egyptian market. “We believe that Egypt is one of the most important and promising markets in the Middle East,” he said. “Therefore, Opel continues to invest in its brand and release new attractive models that meet all the needs of our customers in the Egyptian market.”

Crossland X
The new car sits in the B-SUV segment, characterised by a unique modern design and supported by the latest innovations, combining an unmatched lifestyle choice and dazzling features.
Crossland X is equipped with the highest-powered 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 220 hp and a six-speed manual gearbox.
The three-cylinder engine puts out 205 Nm of torque, taking the Crossland X from 0-100km/h in 11.8 seconds and to a top speed of 187 km/h. The fuel tank capacity reaches 45 litres.
The car has an airbag system of front airbags, thorax/pelvis side airbags, and head airbags. In addition, it features an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution programme according to weight, an up-road assistance, automatic power glass, and electrically adjustable/heated door mirrors.
It comes with a comfort steering wheel with chrome elements, cloth seats, four-way adjustable driver seat and doubly adjustable passenger seat, speed sensor, power door lock, and remote control.
The new model also comes with the Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Radio R 4.0 IntelliLink, a data display, six speakers, front and rear fog lights, and a button to turn the engine on/off. The modern infotainment system brings the world of smartphones into the car while ensuring easy access via the eight-inch colour touchscreen or via voice control.
It also features touch-screen door opening and closing, LED daytime lighting, privacy glass, tire control system, 60/40 folding rear seats, and front and rear headlights. It also has front and rear parking sensors, automatic lighting, rear spoiler, panoramic rearview camera, automatic double air conditioning, leather seats, and manual control for driver and passenger seats in 8 directions.
Grandland X
The Grandland X hosts onboard technologies and provides space for up to five passengers, their luggage, and sport equipment.
At 4.48 metres long, the Grandland X boasts crisp exterior dimensions with its taut muscles and short overhangs. Two optional colour finishes are available to accommodate its modern, dynamic exterior.
The model is equipped with the highest-powered 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 163 hp and a six-speed manual gearbox.
The four-cylinder engine puts out 240 Nm of torque, taking the Grandland X from 0-100km/h in 11.8 seconds and to a top speed of 201 km/h. The fuel tank capacity reaches 53 litres.
The high seating position provides a comfortable arrangement. Heated and ventilated ergonomic AGR front seats (certified by the AGR back-friendly products) give support for long trips. They adjust electrically in up to 16 ways for the perfect sitting position.
Drivers can control the radio through buttons on the steering wheel, as with the Crossland X. The new model also comes with the Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Radio R 4.0 IntelliLink, a data display, six speakers, front and rear fog lights, and a button to turn the engine on/off.
