Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt signed a cooperation protocol with EFG Hermes Financial Leasing to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), as part of the bank's efforts towards the provision of integrated services that help SMEs to grow.
CEO and Managing Director of ABK-Egypt Khaled El-Salawy said that the bank's strategy seeks interest in SMEs, where it is keen to provide the services and products that they have developed specifically to meet the needs of this important sector.
He revealed that the bank is currently in the process of launching several initiatives that will provide maximum support to this sector in light of economic developments and in line with the directives and initiatives of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
He explained that the bank's SME department role is not only limited to providing financial solutions, but seeks to provide comprehensive services through their expertise in this area, where they focus on understanding the needs of our customers and dealing with them efficiently and flexibly to provide appropriate alternatives to help them grow their businesses.
Ahmed El-Kholy, CEO and managing director of EFG Hermes Leasing, said that the signing of this agreement aims at introducing innovative methods that support this category, which they hope will be the locomotive of the economy in the coming stage.
