Arab parliamentary officials in Egypt to meet with Al-Sisi and Abdul Aal
Both meetings focused on bilateral talks

On Sunday, Parliament Speaker Ali Abdul Aal met with the vice president of the Omani State Council, Khattab bin Ghalib Al-Hinai. Meanwhile, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met with Kuwait's National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim. Both meetings were for bilateral talks, according to state-run media outlet Egy News
Abdul Aal held a bilateral meeting with Ghalib Al-Hinai and his accompanying delegation, in which officials discussed ways of developing their bilateral relations, and also reviewed updates of their current cooperation and partnerships.
During the meeting, Abdul Aal referred to the historical relations between the two countries, explaining that the Egyptian-Omani relation derived its strength from the multiplicity of areas of cooperation, mutual understanding, and coordination between both countries.
He also stressed the Egyptian parliament's concern to develop parliamentary relations with Oman, suggesting that this could be achieved through forming a parliamentary friendship association between the two countries' parliaments, with the aim of sharing common experiences between the two countries.
The association can be formed on both secretariat and deputy levels, Abdul Aal clarified.
Regarding Al-Sisi's meeting with Al-Ghanim, both discussed bilateral relations and asserted on its strength. Al-Sisi requested Al-Ghanim to convey his greetings to Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and also his congratulations on the occasion of the eleventh anniversary of leading Kuwait, as well as praising his great role in strengthening the unity of Arabs.
The president also asserted the significance of development of the two countries' relations for the benefit, progress, and stability of the Egyptian and Kuwaiti peoples in all fields. The meeting mainly witnessed bilateral discussions and a review of both countries' development during the last period.
