Allianz Egypt, Emirates NBD-Egypt offer property and casualty insurance
The services are introduced to meet the increasing sophisticated needs of Egyptian customers

Allianz Egypt, in partnership with Emirates NBD-Egypt, recently expanded the range of bancassurance [bank insurance] products offered to the Egyptian market to include property and casualty insurance, according to a press statement by Allianz on Thursday.
The statement said that the services are introduced to meet the increasing sophisticated needs of Egyptian customers. The range of insurance products includes car insurance for both individuals and corporations, small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) insurance, and healthcare plans.
The statement added that this latest product announcement follows the signing of a new five-year agreement between Allianz Egypt and Emirates NBD-Egypt, continuing their 13-year partnership of providing financial services.
Managing director of Allianz Insurance Company – Egypt Mohamed Mahran said that Egypt is a fast-rising economy with many opportunities.
"Allianz Egypt is pleased to expand the successful relationship with the bank to include property and casualty insurance. By partnering with Emirates NBD Egypt, customers will find it even easier to build an insurance plan that meets their specific needs," said Mahran.
From his part, head of retail banking and wealth management at Emirates NBD-Egypt Fredric de Melker said that the bank's new variety of innovative insurance products are a culmination of the strategic partnership with Allianz in order to provide the most diverse range of insurance services and products for customers.
