The Third Annual Automotive Summit will lead the talks between the government and the private sector over the development strategy of the automotive industry in Egypt. The strategy includes incentives to increase export and solutions to challenges faced by automotive companies. The automotive industry strategy has been the main focus of discussions during the first and second annual summit. The implementation of this strategy will support the automotive market in the coming period by providing a clear vision for the future of investment and competition in the market. The summit will discuss the future of investment opportunities of the automotive industry in the Suez Canal Area Development Project. It will also review the role of the private sector in planning and establishing an automotive city, as well as the advantages and facilities in the region. The summit will additionally review successful African experiences in attracting and localizing the automotive industry. The automotive summit in Egypt is the largest forum of leading officials, heads of government agencies, business organizations, heads of automotive manufacturing and trading companies, agents, distributors, global car manufacturers, investors in the feeding industries sector, banks, and insurance companies. The third annual summit will hold a session to discuss investment in auto-racing events and their role in attracting tourists to Egypt. It will also discuss the legal framework for young participants in these events. The summit will discuss ways to develop the transportation system and its impact on the domestic automotive market, as well as the technological means in organizing the experience of services like Careem and Uber. The summit will address suitable ways to organize mass transportation and encourage investment in the sector, in addition to the expansion of production, export, and the increase of local components manufacturing. The participants will discuss the financial, tax, and customs policies related to the automotive market
