Mosselhi plays down resignation claims

ALEXANDRIA: Ittihad of Alexandria Chairman Mohamed Mosselhi has denied speculations claiming that the board will step down in the next few hours following the team s defeat against Haras Al-Hodoud.
Board member Hesham Al-Torqi has hinted that he could quit after the club s poor performances but Mosselhi confirmed that he will remain in charge.
I have to assume my responsibilities and I have a lot of faith in the players and the technical staff, Mosselhi told FilGoal.com.
The Ittihad supremo has promised extra-bonuses for the players for any victory in the upcoming games.
The Alexandrian giants will host Zamalek next Wednesday.
