Egyptian kata female's team wins 2016 Karate1 Premier League celebrated in Sharm El-Sheikh

The Karate1 Premier League celebrated in Sharm El-Sheikh started in 26 February and concluded its events Sunday.
Celebrating such a prestigious league in the Egyptian touristic city of Sharm El-Sheikh is very significant for tourism to recover its reputation and prove the country is a safe place that can host important sports events.
In terms of the team "kata"'s competitions, Egyptian kata female's team surprised the audience when they won the female kata's division while Morocco's team won the gold medal in the male's kata division.
Throughout this league, several Egyptian and Arab karate champions stood out. Urainian, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Turkish karate champions also had their good share.
In the female kata's, Spanish Sandra Sánchez Jaime, playing for the UAE, won the gold medal while Morocco's Sanae Agalman won silver. Bronze went for Egypt's Aya Ismail and Zeinab Badawy.
In the female "kumite" under 50 kg's division, Egyptian Areeg Rashed won the gold medal. Turkish Serap Ozcelik won the silver medal. Ukrainian Kateryna Kryva and Mona Khairy won bronze.
Egyptian Aya Shaaban won the female kumite under 55 kg's division with gold, while Egyptian Mennatallah Ibrahim won silver. Bronze went to Ukrainian Anzhelika Terluyga and Egyptian Aya Zeinhom.
Egyptian Giana Lotfy won the gold medal in female kumite under 61 kg's division, Syrian Mouna Shheber the silver medal. Egyptians Randa Mahmoud and Iman Mohamed won bronze.
Spanish Cristina Vizcaíno González won gold in the female kumite under 68 kg's division, Egyptian Aya Ali won silver, and Egyptian Yasmine Ezzat and Tunisian Chaima Bouaziz won bronze.
In terms of the female kumite above 68 kg's division, Ukrainian Anastasiya Stepashko won the gold medal, Egyptian Sohila Hussam won silver, and bronze went to Turkey's Mücessem Buse Avcu and Egypt's Asmaa Ezat.
Moving to the male competitions, Spanish Francisco Jose Salazar Jover won the gold medal of the male kata's division, while the silver medal went to Morrocan Bilal Benkacem, Egyptians Ahmed El-Swafy and Islam Hassan won bronze.
Saudi karate champions stood out in the male kumite under 60 kg's division, Saudi Abdul Hadi Al-Malki won the gold medal, silver medal went to Spanish Matías Gómez García, while Saudi Saud Al-Basher and Egyptian Malek Salama won bronze.
As for the male kumite under 67 kg's division, Jordan's Bashar Al-Najjar won the gold medal, Morocco's Abdel Ilah Boujdi won silver, and bronze went to Saudi Bader Al-Otaibi and Egyptian Magdy Hanafy.
Egyptian champions had their good share in the male kumite under 75 kg's division, as Egyptian Omar Abdel Rahman won gold in this division, silver medal went to Saudi Majed Al-Khalifah, and Egyptian Abdel Rahman Mohamed Ahmed and Jordanian Hatem Al-Dweik won bronze.
In the male kumite under 84 kg's division, Egyptian Abd Alla Ibrahim and Saudi Ibrahim Nantumi won gold first and silver, respectively. Egypt's Shaker Keshta and Tunisian Boukachta Nadhir won bronze.
In terms of the male kumite above 84 kg's, Moroccan Achraf Ouchen won the gold medal, while silver went to Egyptian Ahmed Ashref. Bronze went to Tunisian Marouane Ezzar and South African Morgan Moss.
