Shoukry delivers message on regional affairs in Amman
The Foreign Minister discussed with the Jordanian King the situation in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry delivered a message on current regional affairs from President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to Jordanian King Abdullah II, during a visit to Amman.
Shoukry arrived in Amman Saturday, in a trip that includes Ethiopia and the UAE, as well as Jordan.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zaid said in a statement that both sides discussed the situation in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Libya.
Shoukry presented Egypt's point of view, highlighting the importance of starting political negotiations in Syria in accordance with the UN resolution, as well as the importance of fair representation of the opposition.
The talks over Syria were scheduled to start this week, but will likely be postponed until the US and Russia agree over the representation in the opposition delegation.
He also commented on the importance of supporting the national unity government in Libya in order to combat terrorism.
The Libyan presidential council announced the formation of a government of national unity last week, according to a UN plan.
