Auto Gameel, the exclusive dealer of Ford in Egypt, will launch the news Ford Focus, its first model equipped with the EcoBoost engine. According to the company, the EcoBoost engine combines performance and fuel saving. The engine has a 1,500 CC capacity, with turbo charge to reach a horsepower of 148 and maximum torque of 240 newton metres. The engine operates with octane 92 fuel. The Ford Focus model is equipped with a new six-speed gearbox. It enables drivers to choose between automated fuel consumption save mode and sport mode. It also features an immediate response system during acceleration. The Focus provides a package of safety features and obtained a five-star certificate after passing all of the Euro-NCAP traffic safety standards tests, considered among the most prestigious European safety certificates. As for after-sales services, Auto Gameel developed a strategy that is based on several aspects including providing spare parts at lower prices. Ford's spare parts have become competitive with both European and Japanese parts. Auto Gameel is working towards providing an integrated network of after-sales centres and outlets selling original spare parts, in addition to luxury and collectible Ford accessories.
