Published in Daily News Egypt on 25 - 02 - 2015

Fans of the Miami Heights were shocked after it was confirmed that the team's star Chris Bush has suffered lung coagulation, meaning he will not play until the end of the season.
This is the second shock for NBA global fans after last week, when Portland Trail Blazers star Jerome Kirsi died at the age of 52, suffering from the same illness
No doubt, the Miami Heights team will be affected by Chris Bush's absence, especially after the absence of Lebron James last summer. The Miami Heights ranked 8th in the oriental group after 52 matches in the American Basketball League. Last year, the team was elected to the knockout phase, reaching number two in the oriental group, following the Indiana Pacers.
Last year, Chris Bush renewed his contract with the Miami Heights, after receiving a huge financial offer of $118m for five years. This is what the team has paid to keep the star who was chosen nine times to join the All-Star team. Bush, 30, has played for the Miami Heights since 2010, before that playing for the Toronto Raptors.
Chris Bush was chosen to join the Toronto Raptors as a professional player in 2003, after he participated in the NBA Draft. This has witnessed the rise and success of more than one NBA star, including LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony.
Bush led the Toronto Raptors season 2006-2007 for the first time in the last five years for the NBA Playoffs. He left the team in 2010, after being the best leader for the team who achieved points, rebounds, blocking, free throws and game minutes.
Chris Bush received the first titles of the NBA in 2012, after the Miami Heights won against Oklahoma City Thunder 4-1 in the final game. He received the second title in 2013 after the San Antonio Spurs was defeated in the final match. Throughout his international career, he received a golden medal with the US National Team in the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
Analysing Chris Bush's attitude as a professional player, he participated in 796 matches, of which he played in 784 from the start. He has reached an average participation of 35.9 minutes per game, and the field goal percentage reached 0.498%. Moreover his point field goal percentage reached 0.31%, his rebounds reached 8.7 per match, and his average points reached two assists per match, while the his average of achieving points reached 19.2 points per match.
Chris Bush has a good defence attitude. His average for picking balls is 0.8 balls per match, and a block average at 1.1 balls per match.
