Siemens launches innovations to improve industrial productivity

Global electronics and engineering giant Siemens has announced it will extend its expertise to its clients in the local market through exploring technical and renewable solutions for energy consumption.
The company made the announcement during a conference it launched to display its latest products and technical solutions for various industries.
More than 150 clients, consultants and joint-companies attended the conference, including cement, oil and gas, petrochemical wastewater, car and many more industries.
Siemens launched a series of new systems dubbed “SIMATIC S7-1500" for full control to improve productivity and efficiency levels in different engineering procedures, by relying on a number of new distinct features.
The systems were especially designed to help speed the design and planning process of any industrial project.
Tamer Bassiouny, industrial automation and control systems manager at Siemens, said that “industries in Egypt are currently facing a number of challenges, such as increased global competition, and the need to increase efficiency to keep up with this competition".
Bassiouny added that these complicated challenges “are in need of a trusted partner like Siemens, a company that has experience and global networks in the business world".
During the conference Siemens also introduced the “Sirius Innovation" which is designed to help reduce the cost of industrial production by 80%, maintenance costs by 35% and energy consumption by 92%.
The industrial sector at Siemens announced in the conference a number of smart techniques offered to its clients to improve their competitive skills by improving their productivity and efficiency at work.
