Former Liverpool and Chelsea coach Rafael Benitez has been installed as the new manager of Italian Serie A side Napoli, the club have confirmed tonight. Benitez, who recently led Chelsea to Europa League glory with a 2-1 win over Benfica in Amsterdam, replaces outgoing coach Walter Mazzarri, who recently left for Benitez's former club, Inter Milan. Benitez endured a turbulent relationship with the Chelsea support throughout the 2012/13 campaign, despite gaining Champions League qualification and the Europa League victory. The news on Benitez's appointment was confirmed via Twitter and then later confirmed by club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
