CAIRO: As reports on Tuesday early evening indicate a ceasefire is to take place in Gaza that aims to end nearly two weeks of violence and a growing number of Palestinians killed, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has condemned Israel over its fabrication of videos during their near constant barrage of Gaza from the air. UNRWA has rebuked Israeli allegations, made through social media, that it had allowed schools it runs in the Gaza Strip to be used by Palestinian forces to launch rockets towards Israel. “The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) denies allegations made online by the IDF Spokesperson that Palestinian militants are using UNRWA schools or facilities in Gaza to fire rockets into Israel," the agency said in a press release published on Tuesday. It came as the death total in Gaza rose to 124, including more than two dozen children and has injured nearly 1,000 people in the major airstrikes that began a week ago. The global community has continued to put pressure on Israel to end its violence and Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has been pushing for a ceasefire between the two sides, which officials have said could begin at midnight tonight. One activist in Gaza, however, told Bikyamasr.com that even if there is a ceasefire later tonight, “the airstrikes will continue and we could see many more deaths because Israel is known to continue to drop bombs, more of them, as a ceasefire approaches.” UNRWA criticized Israel's fabrication of material and its dissemination via social media:
