CAIRO: A new survey found that 79 percent of Egyptians are satisfied with Egypt President Mohamed Morsi's performance after 80 days of his presidency. Eight percent said they have no opinion on his presidency while 13 percent expressed their dissatisfaction. The survey conducted by the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera) asked 1,665 citizens from across the country their views on Morsi's rule and found that Morsi had slightly more support in the countryside than urban areas, 80 to 78 percent, respectively. The survey found Morsi more popular among males than females, 81 to 77 percent, respectively, and more support from the elderly than youth, with 83 to 77 percent. Higher degree holders were more dissatisfied than those without university education, 76 to 83 percent. Morsi has a one-hundred day program where he promised to solve many of the urgent issues Egyptian face daily such as traffic conjunction, clean streets, fuel and bread. The center said that Morsi scored a 17 percent rise after the center's last survey 20 days ago found the percentage to be only 58 percent satisfied. As for those who did not vote, the survey found that 55 percent would vote for Morsi if the elections was held tomorrow.
