KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia police reported they had arrested a Thai woman believed to be carrying some 38 kilograms of a crystalline substance believed to be the drug syabu. She was detained at the Bukit Kayu Hitam Immigration Complex on Friday after her bag was scanned. If she is convicted of drug trafficking, the Thai woman could face the death penalty.
