Tigo Ghana excites Ghanians this Easter with special packages

LAGOS: Tigo Ghana, a mobile telecommunication services provider celebrated Easter this year by bringing different activities and special packages to citizens of Ghana.
In a statement signed yesterday, Kwame Buckman, Brands Assistant of Tigo, said the company in the Eastern region, joined the chiefs and people of Kwahu and their surrounding communities to celebrate their annual Easter festival in a spectacular way.
Buckman said Tigo made a cash donation and assorted Tigo souvenirs to the Kwahu Traditional Council. This is in its attempt to support the Kwahu Traditional Council in organizing this year's activities.
The statement revealed, “The company also partnered with Y-fm and Adom-fm to provide visitors with varied entertainment activities, ranging from a Hi-Life concert with Ghanaian Hi life star Amakye Dede, a pool party at the Wags hotel, an Omo Tuo party at the ‘Eastern Palace' and a Hip life concert with Hip life artiste such as Asem, Edem, D Black, OJ Black and many other exciting acts.”
Tigo organized family fun games for all the Presbyterian churches in the Madina District of Accra.
The company also took the opportunity to reward its loyal subscribers in the ‘Tigo Easter promo'. The promo offered subscribers the opportunity to answer questions on Easter and win Amazing prizes such as data enabled handsets with one week of unlimited Internet access and Gh¢2,000 each week.
All subscribers had to do is send ‘TIGO' to 6565 to start answering questions. This promo will run till the 10th of May, 2012.
