CAIRO: Security in South Sinai managed to return a Czech tour guide two hours after she was kidnapped by gunmen on the highway between Nuweiba and Dahab on Thursday, according Egypt's state-run news source, MENA. The director of the security of South Sinai has received notification from the Director of Criminal Investigations at the Directorate of Security, reporting that a tour bus that was transporting 12 tourists, all from the Czech Republic, after their visits to tourist attractions in Taba and Nuweiba on the way to Sharm el-Sheikh were subjected to an armed attack by 4 masked gunmen traveling in a car without license plates. The gunmen abducted the tour guide, 35 years-old, after intercepting the bus, and threatened the bus driver with automatic weapons. The armed forces, police and some Bedouin tribes members participated in the search for the tour guide, managed to identify the kidnappers, and too, release the tour guide.
