Angry Serbs snub Jolie's film Bosnian war film

Belgrade (dpa) – Angelina Jolie's directorial debut flopped at its premiere in Serbia, drawing just a handful of people to theaters on the its opening night, local media reported Friday.
According to newspaper reports, less than 50 people viewed the film in all screenings in Serbia on its premiere on Wednesday night.
The film In the Land of Blood and Honey, set in the Bosnian war, was received with hostility among Serbs because of what they saw as a biased portrayal of their compatriots in the conflict.
“In the land of five spectators,” the daily Press said Thursday, reporting on the Wednesday opening night in one of the two cinemas screening the film. “And that's five more than this movie deserves.”
