Los Angeles (dpa) – Madonna announced the dates of her 2012 world tour on Tuesday, kicking off the six-month global jaunt with a May 29 concert in Tel Aviv, Israel. It is unknown whether that decision has anything to do with the pop superstar's devotion to the Jewish mystical teaching of the Kabala, but no other artists of her magnitude have initiated their world tours in the Jewish state. The 50 tour dates were announced just two days after Madonna basked in the positive reviews of her Super Bowl half time performance, and the release of her first single from her upcoming album MDNA. From Tel Aviv, Madonna will travel to Abu Dhabi and Turkey before dates in Croatia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, Germany, France and Britain. Her European tour will also include dates in Dublin, Russia, Poland, Switzerland and Austria, before she switches in late August to North America. The final concert of her of tour will be in Atlanta on November 17. BM ShortURL: http://goo.gl/20avo Tags: Israel, Madonna, Tel Aviv, Tour Section: Entertainment, Palestine
