Robin Van Persie visits Maradona in Dubai

Dubai (dpa) – Arsenal's Dutch striker Robin van Persie paid a surprise visit to Diego Maradona, who coaches Dubai-based club Al Wasl, while on vacation with his family in the Gulf emirate Dubai.
“I have always admired Maradona since I was young,” said Van Persie. “Today my dream to meet him has come true.”
Maradona also praised the Arsenal striker “as an idol and a star footballer” who has great talent.
Maradona has been coaching Al Wasl since May under a two-year contract.
