CAIRO: Pakistani actress Veena Malik has sparked another “nude photo controversy,” after appearing on the cover of the latest edition of the glossy men's magazine India FHM, with the initials of Pakistan's feared and powerful intelligence agency on her arm. Her photo spread like a wildfire in social network websites. This nude controversy, however, appears to be different, as Malik, 27, emphatically denies posing naked for the magazine, acknowledging that she has been photographed for a “bold but not nude shot.” “It came to me as a big shock and I am really upset. The photo is morphed! I never shot the picture like this, I got it clicked with some clothes on,” she said. “My lawyer is looking into the matter and we plan to take legal action against the magazine for ruining my image,” she added. Kabeer Sharma, FHM India's editor, however, said that the actress gave the magazine her full consent to take the photo. ”We have video footage of the shoot as well as emails from Veena about how she's looking forward to the cover,” he stated. As her arm was covered with the letters “ISI,” referring to Pakistan's omnipresent Inter-Services Intelligence, the Interior Minister of Pakistan, Rehman Malik, has announced an investigation into the matter. “If she has done so, she did wrong. But, these pictures are tempered many times and we will look into this issue,” he said. According to Malik, India FHM had promised that the ISI initials would be covered. BM
