SANA'A: A Yemeni official announced that the country's oil infrastructures had once again been targeted by a group of armed tribesmen allegedly loyal to the opposition in its province of Marib South-East of Sana'a, the capital. The pipeline was blown up and the countries' oil and gas companies are now contemplating a suspension in activities, in waiting for repairs to be carried out. The attack took place on Friday in the Sirwah area. The government is believed to have launched an immediate inquiry into what is already referred to as a terrorist attack against Yemen resources, while many with the regime are pointed out at the opposition arguing that the coalition of parties led mainly by al-Islah were continuing their campaign of defamation and sabotage, hoping to destabilize the nation and turn the population against tits legitimate government. Several similar attacks over the past few months have led to a serious fuel penury, triggering high levels of inflations and an economic depression. BM
