Letter to SCAF from Maikel Nabil Sanad's father

Maikel Nabil Sanad's – the Egyptian blogger sentenced to jail earlier this year, and has been on a hunger strike since August 23 – father has sent a letter to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) urging them to release his son whose life is in grave danger. Below is the full text of his letter:
An Appeal to the Field Masrhal
To Field Marshal / Mohamed Hussein Tantawi
President of the Council of the Armed Forces
All the greetings and appreciation and respect
Presented to you by Nabil Sanad Ibrahim, the father of blogger Dr. Maikel Nabil, currently imprisoned under custody of case No. 18/2011 – military, and was sentenced to three years with labor on 10/04/2011. He is currently serving his sentence in El Marg public prison.
Please note that my son has been on hunger strike since 23/08/2011 to date, his state of health is in grave danger and threatens with his death at any moment.
On behalf of the rest of Maikel's family, I ask you to release your decision of pardon for my son because of his health and mental state. He is suffering from intense depression, we have complete trust and confidence that you will look into this demand with humanity and compassion.
Let this be considered another great task for the Supreme Council, in a chain of great patriotism performed for this country and revolution.
