The National Salvation Front (NSF) announced on Tuesday that it will neither participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections nor attend a national dialogue called by President Mohamed Mursi. The NSF is Egypt's main opposition coalition that groups several political parties and movements that are opposed to Islamists' polices. The Front includes Mohamed ElBaradei's Dostour Party and Hamdeen Sabahi's Popular Current. Parliamentary elections to bring about a new House of Representatives are due to start on April 22 for the lower house to convene for the first time on July 2.
