Brazil former star Pele recovering from surgery in Sao Paulo

(Reuters) – The Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo says Pele is in good condition after surgery.
Local media said on Tuesday that the soccer giant had a hip operation. The hospital said it can only disclose additional information with the consent of Pele's family.
Globo TV said he is expected to be released Wednesday. It wasn't clear when he was admitted.
Pele, who won three World Cup titles with Brazil and scored nearly 1,300 career goals, turned 72 in October.
