Egyptian Minister of Military Production Mohamed El-Assar will head tomorrow to Abu Dhabi to attend IDEX 2019, an international defence exhibition that will take place on February 17-21. Military Production Ministry will display at the Egyptian pavilion its products and defence equipment that are manufactured by its affiliated firms. The Egyptian armored vehicles St100 and St 500 will be presented for the first time at an international military exhibition abroad. This is the second time for the ministry to participate in IDEX 2019 as it previously took part in its 2017 edition. El-Assar will meet with a number of military commanders from all over the world and the heads of firms companies taking part in the fair. The ministry's participation in IDEX 2019 will provide an opportunity for opening up to the world through presenting its technological and technical capabilities and enable it to get acquainted with the latest technologies in the armament and defense fields. The ministry will also have a key opportunity to invite the participating countries to take part in the second edition of EDEX 2020 in Egypt, after the success of its first edition in 2018.
