The value of outstanding balances of treasury bonds listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange rose by EGP 8 billion, registering EGP 262 billion at the end of last May, compared to EGP 254 billion at the end of last April, according to the Central Bank of Egypt's report. This increase came after the increase of the sixty sixth issue of bonds under the primary dealers system with maturity of three years by EGP 4 billion and the sixty seventh issue of bonds under the primary dealers system with maturity of seven years by EGP 2.5 billion. In addition, the value of the sixty eighth issue of bonds with maturity of 10 years rose by EGP one billion and the value of the sixty ninth issue on bonds with maturity of five years rose by EGP 0.5 billion. The value of treasury bills outstanding balances registered EGP 363.2 billion at the end of May 2012, compared to EGP 357.3 billion at the end of April 2012.
