A committee formed of a number of exporting councils and Egyptian Exporters Association reached an agreement with Kenyan authorities on establishing fair for the Egyptian products in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi next October. Ihab Derias, chairman of Egyptian Furniture Export Council (EFEC), told Amwal Al Ghad that the fair aims at marketing the Egyptian product in the Kenyan markets as well the African markets; paving the way for developing the volume of Egyptian exports to these markets and re-compensate the low European demand on the Egyptian product. Derias added that the fair will show products of several industrial sectors; furniture, textile products sector, ready-made clothes and food sector, besides a number of engineering and chemical products. He affirmed that the African market is ready for receiving more Egyptian products during the coming period; giving an example of EFEC experience of attracting foreign importers for the Egyptian product inside the African market during the last period.
