Hatem Saleh Calls On Leather Chamber To Transfer Tanneries To El Roubakey

Eng. Hatem Saleh, minister of industry and foreign trade, ordered Leather Tanning Chamber of FEI, Federation of Egyptian Industries, to prepare a comprehensive vision for implementing the transfer of tanneries to El Roubakey region.
He called for coordinating with the minisrty's apparatus; Industrial Development Authority (IDA), the Industrial and Mining Projects Council. The coordination is for finishing the transfer process during the coming year.
Dr. Hamdi Harb, chairman of Leather Tanning Chamber, on his side, welcomed the minister's onus; asserting that the chamber has already started to prepare the reports and final visions for transferring the tanneries to El Roubakey.
Industrial Development Authority will extend the period in order to reserve the lands for the tanneries in El Roubakey till next September, to help the tanneries' owners comfortably transfer.
