Ukraine's Nibulon to pump $2 bln investments in Egypt's grain logistics

The Egyptian Ministry of Supply has agreed with Ukraine's Nibulon to pump direct investments of $2 billion to help with grain logistics in Egypt according to Assistant Minister of Supply for Investment and Head of the Internal Trade Development Authority, Ibrahim Ashmawy.
Nibulon is an Ukrainian company with over 25 years of experience in the field of grain production, storage, transportation and export.
This came during reviewing a report by reviewing Ali Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade on the results of the visit of the Egyptian delegation to Nikolayev in Ukraine during the period from 22 to 26 May 2018 where the Ukrainian company invited a selected group of ministries concerned (Supply and Internal Trade, transport, irrigation) to visit Ukraine and explore the Ukrainian experience in the field of agriculture, the manufacturing of marine and river blocks to transport grain.
Storing grain will be over four phases, the first phase will start between 2018 and 2019.
Nibulon has the necessary experience of running investment projects with international financial institutions and improving the productivity of grain supply chains.
Nibulon has exported grain to more than 60 countries and exported more than 747,000 tons of wheat under the tenders of the UN's World Food Programme since 2009.
It is also a member of the International Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA) and International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM), the Ukrainian Grain Association and the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation. The company, also a client of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank, has a state-of-the art certified laboratory and is prepared to share knowledge in grain sampling and testing.
