Egypt's construction company Al-Abd says it prepares to deliver two housing and infrastructure flagships within the first quarter of 2018, at total costs worth 590 million Egyptian pounds ($33.3 million). As for the infrastructure project, it is located in Dishna settlement, western Qena and north bank of the Nile, managing director Said Fattouh said Sunday. It is a two-phase project, expected to be one of the biggest of its kind in Qena, including a number of water lift stations and expulsion lines as well as sewage networks, at costs of 400 million pounds, Fattouh further referred. For the housing flagship, it is established in Sadat City, 94km (58 miles) north of Cairo, the Egyptian official stated, adding: "it encompasses the implementation of 30 buildings, at costs worth around 190 million pounds." Fattouh clarified that Al-Abd has been mandated by the Holding Company for Construction and Development to execute a bunch of additional residential buildings and infrastructure works in the county's new administrative capital. Al-Abd seeks to hand over these works at the end of June 2018, Fattouh said, elaborating that his company also won a mandate to carry out a number of other utilities works at the first residential district in the new capital.
