Egypt's Moukhtar Ibrahim to deliver Oman, Abu Dhabi water flagships in a year

Egypt's state-run construction firm Moukhtar Ibrahim says it hopes to deliver drinking water lines projects in Abu Dhabi and Oman within a maximum of one year.
The drinking water lines are with a total cost nearing one billion Egyptian pounds ($56.3 million).
Mohamed Alkhatib, Arab Contractors' deputy chairman of financial and administrative affairs and director, said Tuesday that his company is implementing two drinking water lines in Oman, at costs worth around 700 million pounds.
The first drinking water line is at a length of 36 km, while the second is 60 km, Alkhatib added.
Moukhtar Ibrahim seeks to complete the two water lines within 2018, the Egyptian official further said.
In Abu Dhabi, Alkhatib said Moukhtar Ibrahim is carrying out a number of drinking water, with costs nearing 300 million pounds.
The water lines will be concluded within one year, he said.
Moukhtar Ibrahim has a strong presence in the Arab world, as it implemented a number of infrastructure and housing projects there.
